THE GENERAL DATA

Brake system with the main cylinder тандемного type

The car is equipped by two-planimetric hydraulic system of brakes with the main cylinder тандемного type. At refusal of one contour braking is carried out by means of other contour, but the way of braking thus increases and the effort which is necessary for putting to a brake pedal increases. The control lamp of refusal of brakes Besides, lights up.

Driving with one serviceable contour is forbidden. Immediately repair the refused hydrodrive.

The vacuum amplifier of brakes

It is intended for increase of effort to the piston of the main cylinder at the expense of depression created by the engine. If at driving the engine decays, brakes work from pressing a pedal. In the amplifier the vacuum which can suffice on 1–2 braking, but no more remains.


The prevention

It is forbidden to press constantly a brake pedal at the decayed engine. By each pressing the depression reserve decreases.


Even at a total disappearance of depression of a brake keep working capacity, but the effort which is necessary for putting to a pedal thus increases and the brake way increases.

Antiblocking system (together with a control lamp)

The antiblocking system is intended for растормаживания wheels at sharp braking or at braking on a slippery road covering, raising controllability the car in so critical situation.

The system starts to work at achievement of speed of the car of 10 km/hour. At speed less than 5 km/hour the antiblocking system ceases to operate.

At once after engine start-up, or after a start of motion, from a motor compartment clicks which mean the beginning of a mode of self-examination of antiblocking system reach, but do not specify in malfunction.

At work of antiblocking system pulsations of a pedal of a brake can be felt and be listened noise. It is necessary to keep in this situation only a pedal, applying a little большее effort. It is forbidden to release and press a brake pedal. Pulsations of a pedal of a brake from antiblocking system can specify in a dangerous condition of a road covering. In spite of the fact that according to the destination the antiblocking system raises controllability the car, all the same it is necessary to be careful at movement so the overall performance of the given system depends on variety of objective factors.

Efficiency of braking depends on coupling of tyres with a road covering.

At turn fulfilment at great speed, or sharp maneuver, the driver not always can manage to drive on certain road coverings, even at serviceable antiblocking system.

Avoid movement with a great speed on wet road. The antiblocking system cannot eliminate sliding on a film of water and loss of coupling with a covering.

Always observe a distance to ahead going transport. The brake way of the car equipped with antiblocking system can exceed a brake way of the car without antiblocking system in following cases:

  – At movement on rough, covered with gravel or snow to road;
  – At movement with the chains established on wheels;
  – At movement on bumpy road, or on an inclined track.

Control lamp

The control lamp of antiblocking system lights up at key turn in position On and after 3 seconds dies away.

Presence of one of specified below indications testifies to malfunction of those details which condition is supervised by a lamp. In this case it is necessary to hand over the car immediately in car-care centre service:

  – The lamp does not light up (as is described above) or does not die away;
  – The lamp lights up at movement.

Even at faulty antiblocking system of a brake will keep working capacity.

Indicators of deterioration brake колодок

When deterioration of overlays of disk brakes will exceed norm, the noise published by the indicator of deterioration is distributed.

If at movement squeal or a howling sound immediately address in service of car-care centre for check or replacement brake колодок is distributed.

Avoid a long trip when the indicator publishes a sound.

Long driving with worn out to a limit brake колодками will lead to the accelerated deterioration of an expensive brake disk and to increase of effort to a pedal for preservation of a brake way.
