THE GENERAL DATA
The prevention

Before check the engine should be heated-up, the ignition moment is adjusted, and backlashes in valves to correspond to norm (except for self-regulated valves). All consumers should be disconnected.

Carburettor engines

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Connect a tachometre and a gas analyzer.
2. Warm up the engine and translate on idling.
3. Adjustment of turns is supposed only on carburettors 2В4. The special screw (in a photo) is For this purpose provided.
4. If on the engine with the carburettor 2ВЕ turns low and conducting is serviceable to raise them it is possible connection of the additional resistor in a management chain (it is carried out in car-care centre BMW).
5. Quality of a mix is regulated by the special screw (it is specified by figure 2).

System of injection L-Jetronic

The special tester is necessary for check WITH which gauge is rolled in a final collector (is supposed to use the analyzer with a probe which is entered into an exhaust pipe, however on models with neutralizer this device will not give comprehensible results).

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Idling turns are regulated by the screw on a throttle branch pipe (preliminary it is necessary to remove заглушку the screw).
2. Quality of a mix (WITH) is regulated by the screw on a stream measuring instrument special key BMW 13 1 060.

System of injection Motronic

The special tester is necessary for check WITH which gauge is rolled in a final collector (is supposed to use the analyzer with a probe which is entered into an exhaust pipe, however on models with neutralizer this device will not give comprehensible results).

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If idling turns differ from normal (adjustment is provided with automatically processor block) check up tightness of a joint of an inlet collector and also an air regulator of idling.
2. Quality of a mix (WITH) is regulated by the screw on a stream measuring instrument шестигранным a key.
3. Remove заглешку the adjusting screw on a stream measuring instrument.
4. Adjust WITH.
5. Put заглушку into place.
