3.1.6. A soaking up collector Removal

1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Merge cooling liquid so that level became below a soaking up collector.
3. On инжекторных engines disconnect the big hose from a throttle branch pipe. For expansion of working space it is recommended to remove the air filter with an air line.
4. On carburettor engines remove the air filter.
5. Disconnect from a soaking up collector and a throttle branch pipe hoses of a cooling liquid.
6. Disconnect cables throttle заслонки and the cruise-control (subsection 6.5 see).
7. Remove the valve рециркуляции with a tube.
8. On engine M40 turn away bolts and nuts.
9. Remove the top part of a soaking up collector.
10. Remove a lining.
11. On инжекторных engines disconnect from a regulator of pressure of fuel a vacuum hose and sockets from atomizers.
12. Disconnect from the carburettor (or the fuel distributor) fuel hoses.
13. On engine M40 remove a collector rack.
14. Disconnect from a soaking up collector and a throttle branch pipe other wires and hoses.
15. Turn away bolts / of a nut of fastening of a collector.
16. Start to turn on with peripheral sites, being displaced to the middle, turn on gradually until then while nut bolts / can be turned out by hand.
17. Remove soaking up collector, shaking to destroy consolidation.
18. Remove a lining of a soaking up collector on engine M40.

The prevention

The collector can be removed in gathering with a throttle branch pipe, atomizers, vacuum distributors and temperature regulators, регулятром pressure of fuel or the carburettor. At collector replacement rearrange the specified units.


1. Cautiously clear demountable planes of a collector and a head of cylinders.
2. Check up presence on a collector of cracks, коробления a plane and other damages. As a rule, cracks and коробление are observed on a surface прилегания linings, round apertures under hairpins. In this case the collector is ground or varies.
3. Establish on a collector a new lining which a graphite surface should be turned to a head of cylinders.
4. Establish a collector and wrap bolts and nuts, tighten them with the set moment, from the centre to periphery in a cross order.
5. Other operations are carried out upside-down. On engine M40 replace a lining of both sections of a collector.
